Who Is Lance?
Lance has been manufacturing truck campers since 1965. It’s a well-known and well-respected company in the truck camper industry. In 2008, Lance released its first towable trailers.
Since then, Lance has maintained its position as one of the best RV companies, winning numerous awards and building quality products.
Its home base is in California, where the 141,000-square-foot main operations center is located.
Lance also has a 65,000-square-foot manufacturing building and a 40,000-square-foot center that houses sales, marketing, service, and other teams.
What Types Of RVs Does Lance Manufacture?
Lance first began as a truck camper-only manufacturer. Today, the company also produces lightweight travel trailers and the adventurous Enduro trailer.
The truck camper lineup includes nine floorplans, the travel trailer lineup has 12 floorplans, and the Enduro trailer has two floorplans.
The truck campers are made for both short-bed and long-bed trucks. They range from six feet ten inches to 11 feet 11 inches and have dry weights from 2,061 to 4,318 pounds. Four options have slide-outs to provide extra interior space.
The travel trailers range from 14 feet ten inches to 24 feet 11 inches and have dry weights from 3,225 to 6,830 pounds. Nine floorplans feature a single slide, one option has two slide-outs, and two models have no slides.
What Makes the Lance Enduro Unique?
The Lance Enduro trailer is a new overlanding vehicle. It’s built for outdoor enthusiasts who want to go farther off the beaten path, get closer to trailheads and kayak launches, and enjoy remote locations away from other adventurers.
The two Lance Enduro trailers feature heavy-duty coin flooring, sustainably sourced lightweight bamboo tables and countertops, high-gloss gel-coated fiberglass, and dura-leather-wrapped ultra-plush cushions with diamond stitch inlay.
They’re hard-sided trailers that are built to endure the rough terrain of overlanding. Each option has a Curt independent trailer suspension to help make travel easier and more comfortable.
They also come standard with a 1500-watt inverter, a lithium battery, and a single solar panel. Adventurers who want to stay off-grid longer can add additional lithium batteries and up to 380 watts of solar power.
A Breakdown Of the Lance Enduro
Two floorplans are available in the Lance Enduro lineup. Each option has a 40-gallon fresh tank and a 26-gallon gray tank. They have a cargo carrying capacity of 1,000 pounds, which means plenty of leeway to bring along your outdoor gear. The axle weight is 4,500 pounds.
Both floorplans feature a front convertible U-shaped dinette that turns into a 72-inch by 80-inch sleeping space. Both units also have a full stand-up Truma Combi-powered hot shower and a cassette toilet. The main difference between the two models is the kitchen. Let’s take a closer look!

The “EK” in the Lance Enduro 1200EK travel trailer stands for “exterior kitchen.”
This model is similar to a teardrop trailer with a rear hatch.
The fully opening rear garage door provides access to a cooking space with a propane-powered stove, a water pump-powered sink, and a Truma cooler-style refrigerator and freezer.
The 1200EK is ideal for adventurers who prefer to cook outside.
Lance Enduro 1200IK Travel Trailer

The “IK” in the Lance Enduro 1200IK travel trailer stands for “interior kitchen.”
Unlike the 1200EK, this unit has everything you need inside the trailer.
You have an electric cooktop, a 12-volt portable cooler/refrigerator, a round stainless steel sink, and a bamboo countertop extension, which provides ample countertop space for meal prep.
For outdoor enthusiasts who would rather keep everything inside the trailer, the 1200IK is the best option.
How Much Is the Lance Enduro Travel Trailer?
Because of the quality design and materials, the Lance Enduro travel trailer won’t be within everyone’s budget.
Overlanders looking for a more budget-friendly option might want to check out Runaway Campers or Boreas Campers.
The Lance Enduro will cost over $70,000.
However, that’s still much cheaper than some of the overlanding vans on the market.
Who Is the Lance Enduro Travel Trailer Good For?
The Lance Enduro travel trailer is suitable for adventurers who are serious about getting off-road and off-grid.
Because of the price tag, the two floorplans aren’t ideal for weekend warriors heading out to the local state park a few weekends a year.
We suggest the Lance Enduro for outdoor enthusiasts who are hitting the ATV trails out West or navigating deep into national forests.
It’s a well-built trailer by a well-respected company. But it’s not in the budget for every adventurer.

Lance is diving into the world of overlanding with its Enduro trailers. While these two models are lightweight like the other Lance travel trailers, they feature beefier suspension systems and upgraded off-grid capability.
