What Are Stuffed Puffs Marshmallows?

Stuffed Puffs Marshmallows are a product of Stuffed Puffs LLC. While Michael Tierney created the treat in 2008, the company didn’t come to fruition until 2012. Tierney was tired of settling for sub-par marshmallows for his campfire treats.

He told Forbes, “What bothered me about the traditional s’more was that the chocolate never melted. It never looked like that TV commercial of that really ooey, gooey chocolatey s’more.” So Tierney decided to do something about it.

The Stuffed Puffs Marshmallows come preloaded with chocolate on the inside. This way, the chocolate heats up as you roast them over the fire. When you sandwich these white puffs between graham crackers, you get the “ooey, gooey, chocolatey s’more” Tierney dreamed about.

The treats began production in 2018 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. It didn’t take long before they landed on Walmart shelves in 2019. They offer three original flavors: milk chocolate, salted caramel, and cookies ‘n creme. However, they’re constantly trying new things. 

They took the opportunity in Christmas 2020 to introduce Peppermint Park, and in Easter 2021, they introduced pastel-colored marshmallows. They returned for Halloween 2022 to offer Monster Marsh, green marshmallows filled with chocolate and covered in sprinkles. What will they think of next? You’ll have to wait and see!

Flavors of Stuffed Puffs Marshmallows

As we said, Stuffed Puffs Marshmallows aren’t afraid to take risks. They flex their creative muscles and offer some incredibly unique flavors and presentations. Let’s look at the flavors we found on our local Walmart shelves.

Classic Milk Chocolate

The Classic Milk Chocolate is one of the “OG” offerings from Stuffed Puffs. It’s a vanilla marshmallow stuffed with real milk chocolate. They’re what got the whole brand started.

They’re delicious whether you roast them over an open fire, pop them in the microwave, or eat them out of the bag. They come in 8.6 oz bags and have approximately 12 Stuffed Puffs in each pack.

Cookies ‘n Creme

Another one of the OGs, the Cookies ‘n Creme, puts a fun twist on a traditional treat. These vanilla marshmallows come stuffed with white creme and cookie crumbles. Again, these are delicious no matter how you cook them. 

Try them between graham crackers, on top of a cup of hot chocolate, or a cookies ‘n creme milkshake. There’s no wrong way to eat these. They come in the same 8.6 oz bag, with approximately 14 in each package.

Salted Caramel

The final of the trio of OGs, the Salted Caramel is another popular and delicious option you should try. These fluffy marshmallows come packed with salted caramel flavoring for the filling.
