Various RV memberships give you access to communities, discounts, and even camping. Some memberships are better than others, but one of the most popular memberships is Escapees. RV parks are just one of the many perks of this membership.

However, do you have to be an Escapees member to stay in one of their parks? Let’s take a closer look.

What Is the Escapees RV Club?

The Escapees RV Club is a popular RV membership organization that helps provide a support network for all RVers. The club offers support services, educational resources, and a community for RVers from all walks of life.

Joining the club earns you access to many of its perks, including mail-forwarding services, an online RV university, and their Smart Weigh program. However, one of the biggest perks of joining the club is the wonderful community. Whether through their online community or at one of their many gatherings, you can connect with other like-minded travelers.

Do You Have to Be a Member to Stay at Escapees RV Parks?

You do not have to become a member of Escapees to enjoy eight Escapees RV Parks across the country. However, 11 “SKP Co-Op Parks” are only available for those with an active Escapees membership.

These eight Escapees RV parks are primarily in the southern regions of the country. Even though there are discounts for members, these RV parks are typically very affordable. So even if you’re not a member, it’s worth stopping in at any of the Escapees RV parks.

How Much Does It Cost to Join Escapees RV Club?

Joining the Escapees RV Club is tremendously affordable. An annual Escapees membership only costs $49.95; that’s less than $5 per month. An Escapees membership isn’t just for full-time RVers either. You can give subscriptions to other RV enthusiasts you might know so they can also enjoy the Escapees benefits.

Other Benefits of Being an Escapees RV Club Member

When you become an Escapees RV Club member, you get a host of benefits. There’s access to the Escapees magazine, RV park discounts, the online community, Escapees Maps, and exclusive deals from Escapees partners offering some of the most-used items RVers use. They have lithium battery manufacturers like Battleborn Batteries, RV services, and even technology partners.

The Escapees community can be another tremendous benefit. The open road can be an incredibly lonely place, and by becoming a member, you can enjoy their community events throughout the year and all over the country. The community also hosts virtual campfires so you can stay connected from practically anywhere.

The Perks of Escapees RV Parks

When you stay at one of the Escapees RV Parks, it doesn’t matter if you want to stay for a single night, a week, a month, or more. You’ll be comfortable no matter how long you plan to visit or whether you choose a pull-thru full hook-up site or a spot to dry camp.

Another great advantage of Escapees RV Parks is that they cater to the entire RV family, including the four-legged members of your family. Escapees parks always have an area to walk your dog, so every member of your family feels at home.

Staying at the RV parks is an incredible value. You won’t have to spend a fortune to stay in these parks, and they have opportunities no matter the site. Even if you’re not an Escapees member, you can chat with fellow travelers who are and hear the good and bad of their memberships from real-life customers.
