If you find yourself on the hunt for a small Class C RV, then look no further. While the name may suggest a “smaller” motorhome class, these RVs feel far from cramped. As you will see, Class C RVs can work just as well for small groups as they do for a couple or solo travelers.

We’ve compiled a list of the best small Class C RVs on the market. Before we look at that list, let’s learn more about what to expect from these vehicles.

What Is Considered a Small Class C RV?

A Class C RV is an RV built on a cutaway chassis. This style of RV usually includes an overhang above the driver’s seat that’s used for either storage or an extra place to sleep. A small Class C RV is the same as a full-sized Class C, but the body of the motorhome is usually no longer than 25 feet.

Pros of Small Class C RVs

Driving a small Class C RV comes with several pros. One of the most notable advantages is that the motorhome is already connected to your vehicle. While many other RVs and motorhomes require a tow vehicle, these RVs power themselves. In addition, many small Class C RVs tend to be cheaper than other Class C models. The overhead storage that comes built-in with most Class Cs also helps those who spend a lot of time on the road.

Cons of Small Class C RVs

The most notable disadvantage to driving a small Class C RV is its size. While many may find the smaller space perfect for their needs, it can be difficult for larger families or groups. Due to the compact nature of the vehicle, cabin space is limited.

Another point you should remember when considering a small Class C RV is the price. Though they’re much more affordable than full-sized Class C RVs, they still cost more than many trailer RVs.
