Where Is Siesta Key Beach?

How Do You Get to Siesta Key Beach?

There are two different bridges that connect the island to the mainland of Florida.

Siesta Key North Bridge is on the island’s northern end, and Stickney Point Bridge is toward the island’s center.

The north bridge is the most popular route for visitors, as it is a route from the most populated part of the area.

What Makes Siesta Key Beach So Special?

Siesta Key Beach is a prime attraction for visitors due to the nature of the sand.

The sand on the beach is mainly quartz, making the sand super fine, super white, and super cool.

For real! It’s a beach with cool sand.

No matter what time of day, you don’t have to worry about burning your feet on the sands of Siesta Key Beach.

Most sandy beaches feature broken-down coral, making the quartz makeup of this beach unique and exciting to experience.

The weather at Siesta Key is similar to that in the rest of the state. Florida has a tropical climate. The weather is often hot and a bit humid due to the ocean being close by at all times.
