With all the cool things you can buy for your rig, finding the best RV sewer hose kit isn’t a terribly exciting purchase. However, there are not many other RV items you can buy that will save you from a major headache.
If something goes wrong while dumping, you will have a major mess to deal with. Knowing how to properly dump your tanks is one thing, but having the best RV sewer hose can help tremendously.
What is a Sewer Hose Kit?
A kit means is that the package comes with everything you need to dump your tanks. This includes one or two hoses, attachments for your RV, elbow attachments for the sewer connections, and storage caps. It’s best to buy a kit unless you know you only need a hose.
The Best RV Sewer Hose
The perfect sewer hose is a trusted companion for all campers, full-time or weekender. The right hose can mean the difference between a good or a “crappy” day. Let’s review our top pick!

The RhinoFlex RV Sewer Hose Kit has a one-year warranty against defects from the date of purchase. Most likely you won’t need to use that because the sewer hose is made of 23 mils of heavy-duty polyolefin (thick plastic) reinforced with steel wire.
This sewer hose has been engineered to store in a standard 4″ bumper. The sewer hose is available in various lengths of 5ft, 10ft, 15ft, and 20ft. This grants you the flexibility to use the least amount of hose but allows you to connect them together to reach further away when necessary.
This sewer hose comes with specially designed fittings so you can quickly connect it to your standard RV sewer outlet. In addition, this kit comes complete with two caps to keep any additional water inside the hose and not in your bumper. The RhinoFlex series has various additional attachments available so you can connect to any dump station no matter how oddly constructed.
How To Use a Sewer Hose
Using a sewer hose is relatively easy. You will first connect one end to your RV and the other to the sewer outlet. Make sure your fittings are tight!
We like to first open our gray tank valve to double-check there aren’t any leaks. Once you know you’ve connected your hose securely, open your black tank. Use a black tank flush if you have one. Once your black tank is empty, open your gray tank.
Once all of your tanks are empty you can rinse your RV sewer hose with water and put on the end caps. Put it away and you’re done!
Buy The Best
As I said before, the right sewer hose can make or break your camping trip. In this case, it’s best to buy the best instead of learning your lesson the hard way! We’ve had our RhinoFLEX RV Sewer Hose kit for four years now and we can’t recommend it enough!

I can’t agree more on your choice. I have used many, and that is what I use and have had no problems with it.
