Why Do You Need an RV Ladder?

How to Safely Climb an RV Ladder
We wouldn’t be doing you any favors if we skipped the safety lecture! After all, no ladder will be safe if you don’t know how to climb it! There are a few simple steps you can take for less risky RV maintenance.
First, always face the ladder when going up or down. You should also keep your body centered between the side rails–no leaning off to one side or the other. If you feel the need to lean, climb down and move the ladder over instead.
Our next tip is to keep a tight grip on the rungs and keep three points of contact at all times. That means you move only one hand or one foot. Don’t move your hand and foot simultaneously or have a higher chance of falling off. Not good!
Finally, do yourself a favor and wear solid tennis shoes or work boots for climbing ladders. No flip-flops, we beg you!
