RV manufacturers are taking notice that some consumers want a fifth wheel with an office. This is mainly because remote work and road school are more popular than ever.

While there may not have been many options pre-pandemic, shoppers now have many more options. Whether you’re a family or a couple, some excellent models exist.

Today, we’re sharing five of the best fifth-wheel layouts that come with an office. Could one of these be your next rig?

Let’s dive in and find out!

Why Would You Need an Office in a Fifth Wheel?

Having an office in a fifth wheel can be extremely useful for those with the freedom to work remotely while traveling. Ever since the chaos of 2020, many employers have become more open to allowing employees to work from home.

Thanks to technological advancements like Starlink, these individuals can access high-speed internet anywhere.

Having a dedicated space in their fifth wheel allows them to remain productive. They can focus on their work when needed and go out for an adventure after that critical video conference.

Whether traveling from campsite to campsite or setting up in a seasonal spot, having an office in a fifth wheel can be convenient.

Best Fifth Wheel Layouts With Office Space

If you’re in the market for a fifth wheel with an office space, there are some great options to consider. We’ve narrowed them down to five of the best, which we think will check plenty of boxes for many of you.

Let’s take a look!

Keystone Montana 3941FO

MSRP: $137,153
Sleeps: 4
Length: 42’7”
Weight: 15,267 lbs.

Features: The Keystone Montana 3941FO features a rear bedroom and front office. The office space is hidden at the front of the rig behind the entertainment center.

This creates a generous separation between the bedroom and the main living area. This rig feels incredibly spacious, with a massive king-size bed and multiple opposing slides.

About the Office Space: You’ll enjoy plenty of cabinet and overhead storage space in this office. You can secure your documents and electronics when they’re not in use.

A sliding door offers plenty of privacy and can help create a sense of separation between work and life.

Forest River Riverstone 425FO

MSRP: $216,035
Sleeps: 6
Length: 45’2″
Weight: 18,451 lbs.

Features: The Forest River Riverstone 425FO is the largest camper on our list by almost three feet. It features multiple opposing slides, which creates plenty of room for everyone.

The rear bedroom still offers a king-size bed but feels more cramped than other options. One benefit of this rig is that there’s plenty of seating space for entertaining friends and family.

About the Office Space: The office for this until is located at the front of the camper. We love its location and design because it’s behind the swinging entertainment center. You’d miss it if you didn’t know it was there.

This provides incredible privacy so you can get your work or school down without distractions.

Forest River Cedar Creek 377BH

MSRP: $127,860
Sleeps: 8
Length: 42’5″
Weight: 12,679 lbs.

Features: The Cedar Creek 377BH features two massive opposing slides in the living and dining room spaces. This gives it plenty of room for the large island, including the sink and meal prep space.

Multiple seating options surround this area. Unfortunately, while it can sleep up to eight people, finding a place for everyone to sit can be challenging.

About the Office Space: The Forest River Cedar Creek 377BH features a mid-bunk with an optional desk. While less private than other options, the bunkhouse in the 377BH can be an excellent office space.

In addition, with an overhead bunk, you’ll have an additional space for kids or guests to stay when they visit.

KZ Durango Gold G391RKF

MSRP: $156,243
Sleeps: 6
Length: 42’5″
Weight: 13,220 lbs.

Features: The KZ Durango Gold G391RKF is a unique layout designed with full-time RVers in mind. The massive electric tilt bed comes standard as a queen but with a queen option.

In addition, the front cap space contains a large closet and is prepped for a washer and dryer. Our favorite feature is the his and her sinks in the bathroom. You don’t see these all that often in campers.

About the Office Space: The G391RKF has one of the least private spaces. It simply converts the dining room table in the main living area into a desk. If you don’t use your dinette space (we didn’t), this won’t be a problem.

This can be an excellent option for those who don’t need tremendous privacy or don’t mind being close to loved ones while getting their work done.

However, if you have small children and need to focus or prefer to have a designated place to eat, this may not be the best option.

Forest River Riverstone 39RKFB

MSRP: $195,593
Sleeps: 4
Length: 42’7″
Weight: 19,084 lbs.

Features: The Riverstone 39RKFB from Forest River features a king bed with a queen option. The walk-in closet has plenty of storage and a bench you can use to put on your shoes.

This unit has a half bath with a washer and dryer option. The rear kitchen has ample storage space, stainless steel appliances, a French door refrigerator, and a dishwasher.

About the Office Space: The office space in the 39RKFB is in the living room area. Unlike some options where you have to give up your dining space for a desk, this Riverstone has it all.

The desk is set up next to the pull-out dinette. It has large windows above it, so you can have a killer view while you work. We love this RV layout, and if we went full-time again, this would be the rig we would want to do it in.
