  1. Wolf’s Neck Campground is a terrific place! We’ve camped there many times in the last 20 years. While this article indicates they have plentiful sites with hook-ups, compared to their dry sites, there aren’t a lot. That said, it’s always clean and well maintained, and generally quiet. He cost per night is reasonable. The staff is excellent, and there is a store with their own organic vegetables for sale. If shopping is your thing, there are a number of outlet stores in Freeport itself, and it’s the home of L.L. Bean’s flagship store. Want to eat seafood without fishing? The Harraseeket Fish Market is close by and has its own takeout. RV sites fill up relatively quickly, so if this is your choice, book now.
